This page is a business template for transparency and client onboarding. It should be reviewed by a qualified South African legal professional before full public launch, especially before onboarding medical debt clients.

1. Purpose of this notice

This notice explains how Bahlaloga approaches the protection of personal information when providing services and operating SaaS systems.

2. Responsible party

Bahlaloga Fire Solutions (Pty) Ltd may act as a responsible party for its own client, account, billing and support records. In SaaS workflows, clients may remain responsible parties for information they upload and instruct Bahlaloga to process.

3. Conditions and safeguards

Bahlaloga aims to process personal information lawfully, minimally, transparently and securely. We use access controls, security monitoring, backups and role-based restrictions to reduce unauthorised access.

4. Special caution for medical debt data

Medical debt workflows may involve sensitive account information. Real patient data must only be uploaded by authorised healthcare practices or authorised representatives and only after appropriate agreements and internal access controls are in place.

5. Data subject requests

Requests for access, correction, deletion, objection or processing information can be sent to info@bahlalogasolutions.co.za. We may need to verify identity before responding.

6. Complaints

If a person believes their personal information has been processed unlawfully, they may contact Bahlaloga first so we can investigate. They may also approach the Information Regulator where applicable.
